About Pirates Of The Sea
The Tremendous Trio are :
Aleksandra Kurusova, a frequent Latvian champion at Sport Dances, student of foreign languages at Latvia University and the winner of the Latvian edition of Strictly Come Dancing.
Jānis Vaišļa, an adventurous traveller, TV and radio moderator, producer, cameraman. A real pirate himself, he spent 2 years sailing around the world.
Roberto Meloni, a singer who represented Latvia at the Eurovison Song Contest in 2007 as a member of the group Bonaparti.lv. Roberto is an Italian who since the year 2002 has been living in Latvia. He has participated in such musicals that where staged in Latvia as The Robinsons Treasures, West Side Story and Les Misérables.
With a Swedish song entitled Wolves of the Sea, this almighty team call themselves the Pirates Of The Sea, and will represent Latvia at the upcoming Eurovision Song Contest in Belgrade, Serbia.
Wolves of the Sea is a story about the historical endeavours of our ancestors, and tells of their backbreaking lives, rebellious spirit, freedom, masculinity and tenderness while showing their patriotism and love for the planet earth, and an unquenchable thirst for adventure.
