In this section you will find information relating to the respective selections of the 43 countries participating in the 2017 Eurovision Song Contest. The 62nd edition of the competition will take place in the capital of Ukraine, Kyiv, on 9th, 11th and 13th May.

The Greek National Final will take place Monday 6th March at 21:00 CET and be broadcast live on ERT1.

During the show, the 3 competing songs will be presented in the form of dedicated video clips that the Greek entrant Demy has filmed in both Greece and Ukraine.

Viewers will vote for their favourite via SMS and televoting. During the show nine representatives of Greeks living abroad will also cast their vote contributing to the final outcome. 

Demy will appear live in the show alongside composer Dimitris Kontopoulos and Fokas Evangelinos, stage director of the Greek song in Kyiv. Hovig, Cyprus' representative in 2017 will also take part in the programme which will be hosted by Greek actor Antonis Loudaros and journalist Elena Bouzala.

Preparations for the Greek national selection are continuing. Yesterday composer Dimitris Kontopoulos and the orchestra of the national broadcaster, ERT, recorded the arrangements of the three songs that will be performed the Greek representative Demy during the national final, due to be held in March.
