How many people are WATCHING the Eurovision Song Contest?
In 2003, approximately 61 million people watched the Eurovision Song Contest. In 2004 some 97 million people watched, in 2005 some 91 million people watched the show. In 2006, ratings have been going up again, as approximately 102 million people saw the 51st Eurovision Song Contest in Athens. In 2007 and 2008, the contest had around 105 million viewers, in 2009 some 125 million people tuned in.

How can I apply for MEDIA ACCREDITATION to the Eurovision Song Contest?
The process for media accreditation to the 2012 Eurovision Song Contest takes place online and is restricted to bona fide media representatives only. Please note that the number of available media accreditations is limited. The accreditation period will run from mid-January until late April. More information can be found on the accreditation pages.
Can I get a FAN ACCREDITATION to the Eurovision Song Contest?
Fans are crucial for the Eurovision Song Contest. One of the unique elements of the event is the fan accreditation, giving only the most dedicated fans access to the rehearsals of the show and the press conferences. Each participating broadcaster is allocated a limited number of fan accreditations and it is up to the respective broadcasters to decide if and how many fan accreditations are being distributed.
