Andorra debuted in the Eurovision Song Contest in 2004 alongside Albania, Belarus and Serbia and Montenegro. In 2004, 2005 and 2009, Andorra selected its entry for the Eurovision Song Contest through an internal selection. Between 2006 and 2008, Andorran broadcaster RTVA held a national final to select its entry for the Contest.
Andorra remains the only country to have participated in the Eurovision Song Contest but never competed in the Grand Final. Andorra last participated in the Eurovision Song Contest in 2009.
The closest that Andorra came to reaching a Grand Final was in 2007, when Salvem El Món by Anonymous finished in 12th place in its Semi-Final, giving Andorra its best ever result.
