About Dalal & Deen feat. Ana Rucner and Jala

Dalal, Deen, Ana & Jala are internationally respected artists with more than 150 regional and international awards. They will represent Bosnia & Herzegovina in the 2016 Eurovision Song Contest with the song Ljubav Je (Love Is)

Dalal started a group called Erato in 1999, and was the main author of two albums, Backstage and Make Up. She continued as a solo artist, and is known for her performances at the Monument jazz club in Sarajevo. In 2015 she performed Amazing Grace at a concert organised during the visit of Pope Francis.

Deen, born in 1982 in Sarajevo, is a regional pop sensation. In 2004, he represented Bosnia & Herzegovina at the 2004 Eurovision Song Contest with the song In The Disco. Deen has released three albums so far: Ja Sam Vjetar Zaljubljeni, In The Disco and Anđeo a greškom.

Ana Rucner is a cello instrumentalist, born in Zagreb, Croatia. She is one of Croatia’s most successful performers and her shows have been well received all over the world. Her albums include For Little Angels: Classical Lullabies, eXpression rock classic, and World Classics & Croatian Beauties.

Jasmin Fazlic-Jala was born in 1986 in Sarajevo. He has released three solo albums as a hip-hop artist: Replay, Rijec na rijec and Pakt sa djavolom.

Things you should know about Bosnian entrants

What are the three most interesting aspects of your entry?

Four individual styles bring very interesting mixture to the song. We have an esteemed internationally known Croatian cellist in the team. Deen & Dalal are bonded by a friendship nurtured for over twenty years. They became friends before their music careers, and this friendship survived despite many trials and tribulations, all because of love they feel for each other, and that is the subject of their song.

What are the three most impressive facts about you?

We are all very good friends, successful musicians with more than 15 year long careers and we received more than 150 regional and international awards.

Do you have a (lucky) routine before you go on stage?

We have 10 minutes routine – to concentrate and remain quiet.

Why is the Eurovision Song Contest important for you?

It's a great opportunity for musicians, singers and songwriters because people from all over the world can hear your music. Eurovision is like the dream come true.
