Things you should know about Omar
What are the three most interesting aspects about your entry?
The song is very intimate. It addresses people directly and I think that they can easily identify with the lyrics. I have been saving this song for ten years. I have been saving it for a special occasion.
What are the three most impressive facts about you?
My Dad comes from Jordan of which I'm very proud. I always knew I was going to be a singer. Since I was 2 or 3 years old. I am a qualified dental technician and I have worked as one for a year (before music called me).
Do you have a (lucky) routine before you go on stage?
I need to be alone for at least ten minutes before going on stage. If there is no room to be alone, I use the toilet!
Why is the Eurovision Song Contest important for you?
I have been there before, it's the biggest music festival in the world and it gave me all that I am today … and because I am going there again.
