I was being facetious. However, when it comes to rugby and football, all links to England and the rest of Britain are forgotten, so why not hve a Welsh song. Evans the postman in Rowen, a little village near Conwy, has four daughters who sing well. If they won, the whole country would sing "Thank Evans´four little girls." report to the moderator

Are they not part of the UK? There was a selection already, of entries submitted, and BBC has chosen Engelbert to represent all of Great Britain! I think it is a splendid choice! The song Engelbert will sing, is equally as splendid. "Love Will Set You Free"........could not chose a more beautiful song! report to the moderator

Man Without Love, Release Me, The Last Walz, Les Bicyclette de Belsize - all songs that even today would win this competition. The new one is nice but not in the same league as these Engelbert classics. Hope I´m wrong. Shouldn´t we let Wales submit their own entry? Then we might see Tom Jones or Shirley Bassey up there with Engelbert.
