Geneva, Switzerland -

43 nations will be represented at the 2011 Eurovision Song Contest in Düsseldorf. The European Broadcasting Union announced that on the last day of 2010.

Four countries return after several years of absence. Austria took part for the last time in 2007, and returns to the competition in 2011.
