Moscow, Russia - Today Denmark, Slovenia, Hungary, Azerbaijan and Greece had their second rehearsals and press conferences, the Big Four - Germany, UK, Spain and France - and Russia their first rehearsals.
Tomorrow all the remaining countries will have their second rehearsals. The countries performing tomorrow will be Lithuania, Moldova, Albania, Ukraine, Estonia, the Netherlands, France, Russia, Germany, the United Kingdom and Spain.
Denmark

The Danish representative in the 2009 Eurovision Song Contest, Brinck, was first to rehearse today. He woke the press with his rhythmic song Believe Again and delivered a convincing performance.

In front of LED screens showing the title of the Hungarian entry, Dance With Me, Zoli Ádok rehearsed his sporty performance once again. In the beginning, he and his female dancers wore black and white costumes, which were torn down as a part of the choreography just a bit later.

The duet of AySel & Arash have delivered their second rehearsal today and got the audience clapping along to their extremely catchy entry Always which will be Azerbaijan's entry in the second Semi-Final of the 2009 Eurovision Song Contest. According to experts, AySel & Arash are one of the hot favourites to progress to the final and are currently in the top 5 of both polls and betting agencies. Arash is hugely popular, his latest hit Pure Love is being played all over Europe at the moment and his Eurovision Song Contest entry Always will probably be no failure either.

Greece

For Greece, Sakis Rouvas has opted for a particularly advanced performance. In his second rehearsal on Saturday, the former pole vault jumper and Eurovision Song Contest host revealed his complete plans for the broadcast. In his stage show, which was already previously known to contain much choreography, Sakis now made heavy use of a high-tech podium, lifting him high into the air and moving him from left to right and back on the stage.

Today, a real world star had her first rehearsal for the Final of the 2009 Eurovision Song Contest: Patricia Kaas performed the French entry alone on stage, and only simple camera shots were used to underline the melancholic mood of the song and the charisma of the singer. who really managed to give everyone in the hall goosebumps with her perfect interpretation of Et S'Il Fallait Le Faire!

Today the Russian participant in the 2009 Eurovision Song Contest, Anastasia Prikhodko, rehearsed for the first time in the arena. She dedicated her song Mamo to her mother. Her ballad has a melancholic Slavonic character with elements of sadness and drama in it.

German duo Alex Swings, Oscar Sings stepped onto the huge Moscow stage for the first time today, performing Miss Kiss Kiss Bang. As one of the so called Big 4 countries, Germany is automatically qualified for the final alongside France, Spain, UK and host nation Russia. This year, the German song was chosen internally by broadcaster NDR as during the last 4 years, German entries in the Eurovision Song Contest have failed to reach the top 10 - will the modern swing song by Alex and Oscar have more success?
