Yerevan, Armenia -

ARMTV, the Armenian national broadcaster, has announced that their national final will be held on the 26th of February. Emmy - who had been internally chosen to be Armenia's representative in the 2011 Eurovision Song Contest in Düsseldorf - will sing four songs in the final.

Apart from the date of the national final, ARMTV has also released the names of the 4 composers of the national final songs. Here they are:

  1. Der Hova
  2. Apricota
  3. Vahram Petrosyan
  4. Martin Kesici

While the other composers are Armenia-based, Martin Kesici is from Germany and is mostly known for winning Star Search on German private channel Sat1 in 2003. Since then, he scored several hits in his native country.

The song titles will be revealed at a later date.

In the national final, former Armenian Eurovision Song Contest participants will be special guests and will perform songs to support Emmy.

Armenia came 7th in last year's Eurovision Song Contest with Eva Rivas' Apricot Stone.

Måns Zelmerlöw and Petra Mede will be your hosts during the two Semi-Finals and Grand Final.
