After Show Party: Reactions
Shortly after the Final and winners press conference had ended, there was an after show party held at the Euroclub in Moscow. Eurovision.tv spoke to several artists who attended and you can see videos of the reactions below.
Due to the fact that in Moscow, the time is two hours ahead of CET, the after show party did not begin until well after 3.00am local time! For this reason there were not many delegations in attendance. A VIP room was sectioned off where artists could unwind after the show and say their farewells to friends new and old before departing in their separate ways. Dima Bilan made a brief appearance at the party, and was reunited with his winning team from Belgrade. Jade Ewen and the United Kingdom delegation said that they were very pleased with the fifth place achieved.
Marko Kon of Serbia was the first guest to arrive. Find out below what Marko had to say about Serbia's non qualification from the Semi-Finals, and his general thoughts on his whole Moscow experience.
The very first winner of the Eurovision Song Contest way back in 1956 was Lys Assia from Switzerland. Lys was a guest of honour at the 2009 contest in Moscow. Hear what Lys has to say about the organisation and the event itself in the video below.
Azerbaijan is a newcomer to the Eurovision Song Contest, and Aysel and Arash finished in third place with their song Always. A very excited Aysel shares her thoughts with eurovision.tv in the clip below.
