Baku,Azerbaijan -

Izzy Gold Records said it's about to meet the people behind the Azerbaijani national selection for the 2010 season of the Eurovision Song Contest. Whether this will lead to an American production to represent the country in Oslo, is yet to be revealed.

Izzy Gold Records President and co-founder, Izzy Gold aka Chris Young will visit Azerbaijan on the 25th of August till the 4th of September to introduce his style of music production there. Among other he'll meet the people responsible for choosing the Azerbaijani contestant for the 2010 edition of Europe's favourite TV-show. As last year the song was written by Arash, who has lived in Sweden for most of his life, then this might be a first sign which way Azerbaijan is going in 2010. However, nothing has yet been revealed by their broadcaster iTV.

"This is a tremendous opportunity for me to be involved with many unique and exciting musical collaborations. I feel that the success that I've had in America can easily be transferred to this rapidly expanding market. I've worked with many well-known American recording artists and the chance to work with Azerbaijani artists is very exciting," remarked Izzy Gold in a press release when asked about the importance of his upcoming trip.

Veteran in music business

Chris Young, who is a 16 year veteran of the music industry, contributed to the careers of such acts as George Clinton (Parliament Funkadelic), Ashlee Simpson, Trixy Reiss (Crystal Method), American Idol’s William Hung, Inspectah Deck (Wu-Tang Clan) and the independent sensation The Ravonettes.

Izzy Gold Records is a music production, artist development, management, branding, and publishing company based in New York City.

Azerbaijan has been very successful at the Eurovision Song Contest, becoming eight in the Final in 2008 and third this year in Moscow. Their representatives have been Elnur & Samir with Day After Day and Aysel & Arash with Always, respectively in 2008 and 2009. iTV will also host the 2010 Eurovision Dance Contest in Baku.

Don't tell any bad things about this country, this is the best country. Azeris are more talanted than the other people in other countries, Azerbaijan isn't greedy, you are absolutely wrong. and Azerbaijan must be 1st but it was in 3rd. you didn't see how were your countries. and Arash was also singing, he wasn't just standing on the stage. why are you so? people? why don't you like our country. we never did bad things to you. shame on you ! :(( report to the moderator

Read this blog and answer Do azeries authority has right to ask their citizens why they voted for the music they liked in ESC2009.
And take into consideration one more thing no one in Armenia was questioed for voting for Arash and Aysel. I myself gave one vote for them and never been questioned for that! report to the moderator

If Izzy Gold is the producer, Azerbaijan will certainly be in the top 3 and will actually probably win. He can take nearly anybody and make them a success. Imagine what he'll be able to do with a strong talented Azeri? report to the moderator

    @ VitalSome

Stop being jealous. We deserve to win. And you are right, with a producer who made someone like William Hung sell millions of records it shouldn't be too hard ;-) report to the moderator
