Ivi Adamou for Cyprus in 2012?
The blogosphere and fan sites have been speculating heavily today about the possible Cypriot entrant for the 2012 Eurovision Song Contest, naming Ivi Adamou as the possible candidate for the small island.
Even though nothing has been confirmed by the Cypriot broadcaster, CyBC, according to the rumours, the Greek X-factor entrant Ivi Adamou has already been chosen to be their entry for the 57th Eurovision Song Contest.
While Adamou was not a finalist in the X-Factor with her sixth place finish, she did manage to obtain a record deal with Sony Music Greece, an affiliate of the show. She has later been named a possible candidate for the Eurovision Song Contest representing Greece as well.
In 2011, Cyprus was represented by Christos Mylordos who finished 18th in the second Semi-Final in Düsseldorf with his San Aggelos S'Agapisa.
