London, United Kingdom -

The final entry for this year's Eurovision Song Contest, that of the United Kingdom is just hours away, and you can watch it here first on Eurovision.tv. At 11:00 CET (10:00 in the UK) on Monday the 19th March, we will be presenting in conjunction with the BBC the United Kingdom entry for Baku, which will be sung by Engelbert Humperdinck.

Ever since the announcement on the1st of March that 75 year old Engelbert Humperdinck would be representing the United Kingdom, there has been much speculation regarding the actual song he will perform in Baku, and now the wait is almost over as we will present in conjunction with the BBC the song here on Eurovision.tv at 11:00 CET on Monday 19th March. (For fans in the United Kingdom that will be 10:00 local time).

Over the weekend we took delivery of the video along with the details of the song, with the strict instructions to keep it under wraps until the launch in the morning, in order that you will be able to watch it first here on Eurovision.tv.

The song will also be presented at the same time on the BBC's own Official Eurovision Website,

Humperdinck's song is written and produced by Martin Terefe and Sacha Skarbek.

Swedish born Terefe now works from his recording studio in West London. Over the last few years Grammy Award winning Terefe has worked with artists including James Morrison, Mary J Blige, KT Tunstall, Jason Mraz, Train and Jamie Cullum.

Martin's collaborator is Ivor Novello winning producer / songwriter Sacha Skarbek. In recent years Skarbek has had huge success and co-wrote the international smash You're Beautiful for James Blunt. Skarbek has also worked with Adele, Lana Del Rey, Duffy, Neneh Cherry and Jon Bon Jovi.

You will find out what sort of song they have come up with for Europe's Favourite TV Show very soon, so stay tuned to Eurovision.tv.

Engelbert is the only artist in this contest to make a worldwide name for himself. He may of had more years in the music industry, but his songs and voice over power majority of the artists of today. Honestly all of the other singers in this competition I have never heard of. The same with the rest of the biggest selling artist country in the world, (The United States.) Engelbert has made it big here in the U.S. That pretty much says it all about the other countries. The other artists might be big in their own country, but once you start selling platinum albums to the U.S. like Engelbert then you can start talking. Good Luck to you Engelbert here from the United States. report to the moderator

    This better be good.

The U.K. is the last country to present their song entry this year so I'm hoping that Mr. Humperdinck's song will do justice to the British and raise interest for other artists to participate in the future. report to the moderator

With a very dissapointing and embarrassing song from San Marino and a simple ballad from Belgium I'm really having a lot of hope for the UK entry. I really hoping for a good song! Go Humperdinck! report to the moderator
