Former Eurovision Song Contest winner Alexander Rybak and Romanian singer Paula Seling are touring in Europe to promote their duet called I’ll Show You. In a video interview with Eurovision.tv both artists explain how they met and got the idea to record a song together.

Alexander Rybak from Norway won the 2009 Eurovision Song Contest in Moscow, performing the song Fairytale. One year later, Norway hosted Europe’s Favourite TV Show at the Telenor Arena in Oslo. There, Paula Seling represented her country, Romania. She came third with the duet Playing With Fire, featuring Ovi Martin, a Romanian singer-songwriter and producer, living in Norway.

"At the 2010 Eurovision Song Contest in Oslo, I was introduced to Paula by Ovi Martin", Rybak says in a video interview with Eurovision.tv. "I was impressed that someone so good on stage was so normal and relaxed in real life. So I added you (Paula) on to the list of people I would like to work with".

Two years later, Alexander recorded the song I’ll Show You together with Paula. "Writing this song, I said: it would be cool to record it as a duet. I needed a strong voice – and it was you (Paula)". The Romanian star is thankful for the collaboration. She said in the interview, recorded in the Belgian city of Antwerp, where they promoted their duet, "I got several messages from your Romanian fans. You love your fans, and they know that".
