Aalborg, Denmark -

Tonight the Danish Broadcaster, DR, put on a spectacular show from the Gigantum Arena in Aalborg, with ten fantastic acts. However, in the end only one could be the winner of the Dansk Melodi Grand Prix and that was Chanée & N'evergreen with the song In A Moment Like This!

This year's edition of Dansk Melodi Grand Prix was one of the biggest and most spectacular yet with 10 exceptional acts battling it out for the right to represent their country in one of the Semi-Finals of the 2010 Eurovision Song Contest.

It all started with the first semi-final. Four would qualify. The air was filled with excitement and tention and then it was revealed the follow songs would go through to the second round:

  • Simone - How Will I Know
  • Chanée & N'evergreen - In A Moment Like This
  • Bryan Rice - Breathing
  • Silas & Kat - Come Come Run Away

The voting was exciting with the winner chosen by a duel in the super-final. In end only one song could claim victory and that was In A Moment Like This by Chanée & N'evergreen. The lucky ones who made it there where:

  • Chanée & N'evergreen - In A Moment Like This
  • Bryan Rice - Breathing

In order to reach the final of the 2010 Eurovision Song Contest on the 29th of May, the Danish entry will have to qualify from one of the Semi-Finals to be held on the 25th and 27th of May. Last year, Brinck's Believe Again got a lot of attention and not only due to the fact it was written by Ronan Keating but also, Europe seemed to love it. It finished 13th in the Final in Moscow.

The song is just, over all. VERY weak. Nothing special at all.
I'd be surprised if this even makes it to the grand final.
Good luck though! report to the moderator

I'm happy about Chanée & N'evergreen, there were many great songs this year, and it was difficult to decide - but for those in the finale, I'm glad that this one got the victory, we need something ells than solo guys singing... But Bryan Rice was really great too, if he were the winner, I would be happy as well! :) report to the moderator

It's a good song. Similar to some of the country songs here in the US (in terms of the details). I also liked last year's entry. Good luck, Denmark. Another ticket to the final for you guys. report to the moderator

all songs were pretty much the same, but I though that Silas & Kat - Come Come Run Away, it could be strong song. The winner, Chanée & N'evergreen - In A Moment Like This, very boring I have to say... It will be on high position, but only becauce all scandinavian coutries gives votes to ech other report to the moderator

Bit dissapointed in the result of last nights show... Only two candidates gave me the chills and one brought me to tears, unfortunately this wasn't either of them... I believed in Simone and Bryan Rice, and could easily see any of them on the stage at the finals of the Eurovision Song Contest i May this year, but as for this song, I'm not sure now how we stand in this competition.. I admit it's a good catchy song, bit old fashioned though, and the opening of the song looked great on stage, the guy reminds me a bit of Mika (the funky singer) and it kinda made me wait for something that never happened, the song or their voices never reached me..

I'm afraid we made a mistake choosing this candidate, but this will show in May when the semi finals go off :-) Now we can only wish for the help of all you out there.

Personally I think Norway has a 100 times better candidate than we have, and I can't wait to see him again live.

I'm sorry, I wish I could have been more proud of our candidate. Good thing is, now I can only be surprised if it goes well ;-) report to the moderator
