Minsk, Belarus -

After having recorded some entries for the 2013 Eurovision Song Contest, Alyona Lanskaya made her choice on a hot Latin pop song called Solayoh. The music and lyrics of Solayoh were written by Marc Paelinck and Martin King.

The Belarusian representative, Alyona Lanskaya spent a lot of time on searching her song for Malmö. Last month, the singer recorded some entries in the Abbey Road Studios in London. And yesterday, the closed meeting of members of BTRC and Spamash music centre took place in Minsk where on Alyona’s entry for Malmö has finally been decided. Alyona Lanskaya will perform a Latin pop song Solayoh in the 2013 Eurovision Song Contest. The authors of Solayoh are Mark Paelinck from Belgium and Martin King from Great Britain.

About cooperation of Alyona and Mark Paelinck

The collaboration of Alyona Lanskaya and Mark Paelinck started already 2012. The first successful project was the song Don't Say Sorry which will be included into Alyona Lanskaya’s first English album. Mark is very happy with Alyona’s decision to sing Solayoh. The author is sure that Alyona will successfully perform it on stage in Malmö.

About Alyona’s entry Solayoh

According to the authors, the idea of the song is based on the abstract planet that is called "Solayoh". Hearty and sincere people live there. They believe in miracle and everything that happens around is a mystery. Their hearts are filled with love.

When I heard the demo version of the song Solayoh it immediately found echo in my heart

Happy people draw their inspiration to express and reveal themselves through music, dancing and laughing. The main components of the success in life on the planet "Solayoh" are trust, hope and love. The mission of our planet is to share the energy of love and inspiration.

What is next?

Alyona has a good voice! Song worthy, but not quite ...Belarusian .... This song is is more suitable for the southern countries, on culture and temperament! But everything will depend on the staging? Let's hope that song, singer and show leave good general impression! Good luck Alyona and Belarus! report to the moderator

A British song for Belarus. Oh well. Do you think that 'tsunami' has positive connotations? - No. I loved her winning (disqualified) song last year, and this years former entry was a bit fun. But this is only ridiculous. I think that I have to withdraw my visa application for spring holidays saying this.... because I won't get one now ;) report to the moderator

i dont like new song... And it is not catchy at all!

    Finally, an instant hit!

This will battle with Cascada for my votes.

A bit of drumming is what ESC has been missing lately.

Fun, catchy, upbeat and ethnic elements, just how a good Eurovision song should be! report to the moderator

Well done Belarus! 'Rhythm of love' was all over the place - really seriously bad. 'Solayoh' is a lot better in my opinion. Not to my taste but this will definitely advance to the final and probably get a position in the top 15. report to the moderator
