Baku, Azerbaijan -

The Georgian representative in the 2012 Eurovision Song Contest, Anri Jokhadze, is busy preparing for Baku. Today he visited Baku, and he became the first participant to visit the recently completed Baku Crystal Hall!

These days, Anri Jokhadze has been visiting Baku to launch a very special video clip, which he recorded together with Nigar Jamal, one half of the winning duo of the 2011 Eurovision Song Contest, Ell/Nikki. It's a video dedicated to the United Nations Decade of Action for Road Safety 2011-2020. Anri Jokhadze is acting as an official road safety ambassador in Georgia.

While in Baku, he used the opportunity to visit the venue of the 2012 Eurovision Song Contest, the Baku Crystal Hall. Apart from having a look at the site, he also "took part in cleaning action", as the website of the Georgian public broadcaster GPB mentions. Meanwhile, the work on the stage has also begun within the arena:

Some days ago, the Georgian capital, Tbilisi, hosted the Maltese representative in the 2012 Eurovision Song Contest, Kurt Calleja. Apart from taking part in some talk shows, he also prepared a special video, which can be watched on the GPB website.

One nice surprise is already waiting for the TV viewers of the Final of the 2012 Eurovision Song Contest: GPB recently announced that Sophio Toroshelidze, lead singer of Eldrine, the band that represented Georgia in 2011 in Düsseldorf, will announce the Georgian votes.

Don't miss the chance to check out the official participant profile of the Georgian representative here on Eurovision.tv, and watch the official preview video of I'm A Joker, the Georgian entry for Baku:
