Artists announced for Greek final

Today the Hellenic Broadcasting Corporation (ERT) and the music channel MAD TV announced the names of the participants to the Greek Final for the 34th Greek entry to the Eurovision Song Contest 2013, in Malmö, Sweden.

The four participating acts are;

  • Thomais Apergi
  • Aggeliki Iliadi
  • Alex Leon featuring. Giorgina
  • Koza Mostra with Agathonas Iakovidis

The four competing songs will be published during a special event within the first week of February.
The Greek Final "Ellinikos Telikos 2013" will be held in the mid February and it will be broadcasted live by NET (ERT).

Greece first entered the contest in 1974, and has won Europe's Favourite TV Show just once in 2005 when Helena Paparizou with My Number One. Last year in Baku, Greece finished in 17th place with Aphrodisiac sung by Eleftheria Eleftheriou.

In 2013 Greece has been drawn to perform in the latter half of Semi-Final Two on Thursday the 16th of May.

    Last year was shocking as I thought they would place in the top 10 again... But well, 17th place isn't that bad either.
