Baku, Azerbaijan -

Anggun is a truly cosmopolitan artist, whose roots are in Indonesia, but now she calls France home. Today she rehearsed the energetic routine accompanying her entry Echo (You And I) for the second time in the Baku Crystal Hall.

Before her rehearsal, Anggun told us backstage that she hadn't been too happy with her first rehearsal yesterday: "It wasnt great. It was the first time we were doing this on stage, and it was filmed. Not only by the cameras but also by people with their mobile phones. We got a lot of comments about it, but I was like - Hey!! This is a rehearsal!"

She was more confident about her second rehearsal today: "We know the stage much better, so it should go way better today."

In today's rehearsal, Anggun and her backing dancers showed a very much improved performance, which was captured well by the cameras. The choreography and the setting fit the uptempo pop song Echo (You And I) very well.

Three dancers were on stage with her, with one of them performing a series of somersaults on the catwalk in the beginning of the song. Later on, the dancers stepped on three boxes, showing an artistic choreography on them. To top it off, they even lifted up Anggun, and one of the dancers then jumped over Anggun - a scene that was shown in slow motion on the screens.

The act, in which Anggun is also supported by two backing vocalists, looked and sounded great on the TV screens.

Un encouragement à Angunn ! report to the moderator

I agree with Anggun. People are too quick to judge. It doesn't matter.

Internet observers do not make up the majority of the voters who will be watching Eurovision and hearing all the songs for the first time.

Look at Azerbaijan, they won last year and yet their song entry wasn't even as popular as the other countries' in Eurovision.tv's channel. report to the moderator

@Kal1m3ro I think its because a lot of people who watched her music video for "You and I" on Eurovision.tv's YouTube channel suggest that she brings the hot male models LOL

Believe it or not some countries do listen to people's suggestion. It kind of works actually.

Like last year, people suggested that Azerbaijan film another music video for "Running Scared" and bring some dancers to make it better. The result? They won. report to the moderator

She's not pretentious at all. She's in fact one of the kindest people there is. Anggun is a great performer, and she'll make it work. I totally get what she meant by the whole recording thing. She doesn't mean that she doesn't like journalists, audience, etc. Let's not be so ignorant. It's a rehearsal and not everything will be perfect. That's to be expected. Allez Anggun ! Tout sera bien. report to the moderator
