This year’s winner of the Eurovision Song Contest Emmelie de Forest from Denmark is “overwhelmed, surprised but happy”. That’s what she told to us right after the show. She is very thankful for all the fans and viewers across Europe for the support!

“I am so overwhelmed and surprised, I was dying in the Green Room and so nervous as it was very close with the other countries. Now I’m very happy and I just want to thank Europe for believing in me and this song”, Emmelie said to Eurovision.tv. Check it out!

It was an exciting evening at the Malmö where in front of thousands of people in the arena and millions of people on TV, Emmelie de Forest from Denmark won the 2013 edition of Europe's Favourite TV Show with her songOnly Teardrops!

What an evening it has been!! 26 wonderful acts sang their hearts out on stage, competing for the ultimate prize; the title of winner of the 2013 Eurovision Song Contest.

However, there could be just one winner and that was Emmelie de Forest from Denmark who stormed to victory with 281 points!

Has anybody noticed that the winning song is a copy from another song from 2002?
Especially the beginning and the refrain sound exactly the same as K-Otic "I surrender" (from 2002)

I wont say that Azerbaijan deserves to win only because I'm Azerbaijani. I just want to say that this year Sweden was much better than Denmark :) report to the moderator

Denmark did not deserve to win... if it's not too much to ask, we want to know all the televoting results and the juries results..I'm afraid, if Eurovision will publish all the results, Denmark would not be the winner. Eurovision has become a very corrupt contest, and should be named "where to host next year's song contest". Italy's televoting showed that Cezar was ranked 1, so how did the jury voted that Italy only gave Romania 1 point? And Azerbaijan gave no points to Russia? There is something fishy. In my opinion Azerbaijan or Ukraine deserved to win. Unfortunately, other countries do not stand a chance of winning this show. I predict for next year that Norway or Finland will win. Congrats EBU, you're going to lose a lot public because of your corrupt decisions. report to the moderator

I'm so happy for Denmark!!!! :D They had a really good song this year, but it was a hard competition with many other countries who've been sending some great artists with great songs this year.
Congratulations!! I'm really looking forward to se the Eurovision Song Contest in Copenhagen next year.

However, I think it's time for Cyprus to leave the Eurovision song contest. They have been given 12 points to Greece every year!!! It was one year 1998 in Burmingham when they gave 12 points to Greece and it was the only points that Greece received that year. This is, what I see, clearly not a fair voting from Cyprus in this competition. I've seen countries that have been using neighbor voting, but this is clearly over the limit. It doesn't seems to matter what Greece is sending to the Eurovision every year, they still receive their 12 points from Cyprus every year. report to the moderator

This Eurovision was not the most honest, a lot of balls is not counted correctly, I do not believe that Russia has not given balls Belarus, and so little balls gave for Ukraine. And already there were errors that Azerbaijan gave Russia with 10 points, not 0. Shame to the organizers. report to the moderator
