Macedonia deserves a higher position.... really, Kaliopi did a great job on ESC.
I wonder why Iceland didn't scored high on the chart......, I thought they did a great job.... report to the moderator

Very strange voice from Turkey. Vote of the jury of the twenty-second, and fourth in voting for the people.

So, the juries and the televoters agreed on 5 of the top 10 songs:
Sweden, Serbia, Azerbaijan, Germany and Albania.

I could agree with this result. Sweden was my favourite, but I also liked other 4 entries. Albanian singer was better than the song in my opinion, so I would probably put Estonia in my top 5 list, instead.

And to add: Spain, Cyprus, Malta, Moldova, Romania, The Netherlands, Norway, Denmark and Hungary to the list of my favourite ESC 2012 songs.

Judging by the comments, there's people unhappy with both jury and televote. Two options: 1) use both, 2) use neither.

You'll never please everyone. The objective is to get some rough fairness and diminish the flaws in both systems. report to the moderator

I can't believe that My Favorite this year, France finished with nul points in televoting...
She was 12nd with Juries, Thats the important reason, The fan Vote is ridiculous and unprofessional. report to the moderator

    @ BURR

Fully agree. This 'jury system' is a mess and merely encourages cheating and elitist thinking. Whether Europe's taste suit you or not, televoting at shows what the public likes (and if it is gimmick acts, okay, better than dozens of chichi cheese ballads). It seems jury is just there to garble reality. I wonder why? Why is there ZERO transpereny? Where are the split results per country? It is clearly fishy as can be. report to the moderator

Interesting to see the split results. I'm happy to see Albania received 3 place from the juries - an answer to those who doubted her performance and called it screeching and screaming - thanks to jury that they were able to value her performance. As for Azerbaijan, again glad to see jury put us in top 10, although some people say pretty controversial things and the voting results show how groundless they are :-) I hope next year Azerbaijan sends a song fully made in Azerbaijan, to show that we can create nice songs ourselves as well :-) report to the moderator

Again the 50/50 does its job. Those awful grannies would almost have won, and almost certainly would have in any other year. Songs like Spain and Italy would never get a chance with juries. The juries balance out the field without overly affecting the top of the scoreboard. The top 3 this year were also top 3 of televote alone. In no year has jury changed the televote winner. It means you really need a good song to win. You can't win by sending trash or by sending dull.

Only jury must vote the best song, because they are the ones who really know about music. Televoting has to be a second part, just to say what is the popular song, but not necesary the best. . In fact televoting does not choose the best one.. ¿who can undertand the bad places to France, Italy, Spain.. and the terrible second place to Russia?, NO, NO, NO, I totally disagree with televoting. report to the moderator

Only jury must vote for the right prize, televoting just to know the popular song, but not the best. report to the moderator

Sad that Italy didn't do so well in televoting, Nina deserved top 3 in contest at least. Also sad that Anggun came last in televoting :(. report to the moderator

Surprised at some of the jury results, but think they largely balance out the televote. The UK result was disappointing, but we really didn't deserve anything better. Either way, Sweden topped both lists and was a worthy winner this year. report to the moderator
