Update: Statement regarding Eurovision 2016 ticket sales
AXS, the official ticketing partner for the 2016 Eurovision Song Contest, has issued a statement following the commencement of ticket sales.
A spokesperson for AXS said: "Demand for tickets to the 2016 Eurovision Song Contest in the Globe Arena in Stockholm was immense. During all previous releases of tickets for big events we have always used a queuing system to ensure that tickets are sold to buyers in turn. Due to a configuration issue, some customers experienced technical problems. We are aware of this and apologise for the inconvenience caused and will make certain that this does not happen again in the future".
