The list this year includes some familiar names, as usual, but also many debutants in the competition. Some of them are experienced artists but also a few newcomers are in the list.

Porslin was retired from the competition last year, but Anna Järvinen brings it back this time. David Lindgren made his MF debut last year placing 3rd with Shout It Out. Michael Feiner is one half of The Attic, which participated in 2007 and are also the authors of the MF signature theme.

Anton Ewald has been a backing singer and dancer in Melodifestivalen before with next year's host Danny Saucedo and with Andreas Lundstedt. Sean Banan took part last year narrowly missing the final. Erik Segerstedt is the "E" in E.M.D. who came third in MF 2009 with Baby Goodbye and will duet with Norwegian popstar Tone Damli who came second in MGP 2009 in her native Norway only behind Eurovision Song Contest winner Alexander Rybak.

Felicia Olsson's track is written by veterans Henrik Wikström and Ingela "Pling" Forsman and also by the 2008 Norwegian performer at the Eurovision Song Contest, Maria Haukaas. A special trio comprising three veterans of MF: Pernilla Wahlgren, Hanna Hedlund and Jenny Silver will perform On Top Of The World, by the authors of Euphoria. Composers Sandra Bjurman and Stefan Örn also won the Eurovision Song Contest in 2011 with Running Scared as well as wrote Azerbaijan's entries in 2010 and 2012.

As the winner in 2012, Sweden organizes the Eurovision Song Contest next May in Malmö, but before they will pick their own entry through the popular Melodifestivalen.

@Ilipsv, SVT still haven't finished revealing ALL the artists competing on Melodifestivalen 2013! So you'll never know what might happen over the next few weeks!

And I definitely don't think it's a good idea for Loreen to participate again and run the risk of suffering the Melodifestivalen equivalent of "Second Season Syndrome"! report to the moderator

My gosh! It's hard to say that YOHIO is Swedish! Yeah, he's born in Sweden, of course... but watching his videos maybe you can say... He's Japanese!!!! =)
I'm not a big fan of rock, metal rock, but I can listen to it when I like the song so the 2 songs I heard, I really like him. I didn't expected it And talks good of him that he likes a very different culture, like Japanese one. So I believe that he'll be a succes in MF 2013 and why not representing Sweden!? Will be nice too!!! So let's see when we heartbreak hotel!
    Here 2 songs of him:

He's so great playing the guitar!!!

I only know here Sean Banan, Pernilla Wahlgren & Jenny Sylver. The name of their song On Top Of The World sounds very very strong, and interesting... So I have no doubt that wil see the 3 girls on final! ♥ I don't know who's Hanna Hedlund but they're great! :Dry
I really was wishing with a nice duet, 3 or 4 singers! So go for it Sweden!!! ♥
I wanted to see a duet like Marie Serneholdt with Sara Lumboldt!!! Would be fantastic.
I don't see easy that TIMOTEIJ will enter this year :'( The girls are very underrated!
Sweden always surprises us, so that's why I love this country! And is one of my favs in ESC ♥

Why David Lindgren? I don't think he's anything special. Maybe people speak of him because none of the others are that known.. And Sean Banan.. He's funny, but I don't want him to represent Sweden because of that. Can we swedes please follow up the success of Loreen and Euphoria and vote on something a bit different this time too? It's hard, but vote on someone charismatic that 's good on stage and is having a good song as well. Please step out of the "schlager-box"! We did that this year I think. Continue with the open mind. Sure David Lindgren is charismatic and is having a good voice, but I didn't find his style and the song he sang this year to be a great match. report to the moderator

I loved his song this year :) report to the moderator

The first two semi-finals are usually weaker than the last two. I don't expect any magic. That supergroup with Pernilla, Hanna and the third one sounds a bit outdated, like "Shirley's Angels" a couple of years ago. But the song is written by this year's ESC-winners, so maybe it's something good.

The rest seems pretty boring. But then agian, you never know untiul you see the result, so I shouldn't judge!

Can't wait:) report to the moderator

Alcazar have ''taken a break for an indefinite period of time''. I don't think we will ever see them return as a group again :( report to the moderator

Would be the great to see Alcazar in this year' Melodifestivalen! :/ report to the moderator

Without having heard the songs it’s of course not possible to pick a favourite, but judging only by the names, Marie N'Diaye will most likely be a favourite of mine.

Also I’m going to root for Anton Ewald. Even if his song was crap I’d enjoy watching his number as he’s so gorgeous. (I’m totally crushing on him, haha.)

YOHIO seems unique and thus he interests me.

Also I’m interested in the song ‘Only the Dead Fish Follow the Stream’, mostly because I’ve liked the composers’ previous tries for Azerbaijan and of course for the witty title.

I find it annoying that Sean is back. He isn’t funny, just embarrassing! report to the moderator

I kindda feel that "On Top Of The World" will be a strong song in MF 2013, specially cuz it was written by the same guys who wrote Euphoria.

Anyways, Lyka till Sverige :) report to the moderator
