Paris, France -

The song which will represent France in the 2013 Eurovision Song Contest to be performed by Amandine Bourgeois is about to be released. L'Enfer Et Moi, will be unveiled to the general public tomorrow, Wednesday 13th of March, on the online music platform Spotify.

The French broadcaster, France 3, and the record company of the performer Amandine Bourgeois, Warner Music France, have decided to preview the entry for France L'Enfer Et Moi (Hell And Me) via two channels.

Tomorrow the online music platform Spotify at 10:00 CET will launch the song to the public for the first time. On Thursday at 9:00 CET the video for the song will be published on the site of French tv. Later that day Amandine Bourgeois will also perform her song in the show C à vous at 19:00 on France 5 and the 24th of March in Chabada on France 3.

The clip directed by Seb K shows a baroque universe in which Amandine is unveiled as a sensual and captivating artist. The song L'Enfer Et Moi is written by Boris Bergman and David Salkin.

Amandine Bourgeois

Born in Angoulême on the 12th of June 1979, Amandine won the sixth edition of Nouvelle Star back in 2008 and released two albums with Sony Music since then. The latest in March 2012 entitled Sans Amour, Mon Amour and her debut 20m² in 2009.

She feels that her participation in the Eurovision Song Contest will be the perfect opportunity to promote her new work. Amandine's music mixes a lot of influences, from English pop to soul and rock with a Motown sound.

For her latest album Amandine Bourgeois focused on a key issue: to ensure that the songs kept it simple, with a melody and meaningful words. She partly recorded it in the Yellow Fish and Abbey Road studios in the UK.

France has won the Eurovision Song Contest on five occasions and was represented by Anggun last year with Echo (You And I) in the Final in Baku.

^^ report to the moderator

Like and I don't like. I see it good and I see it bad.. :/ For me Anggun last year had a better song. I see good they keep the full song sung in French!
Amandine has a beautiful song, but the song is not WOW!
Anyway, good luck La France! :) report to the moderator

Something different again and sadly nothing special; love sung French but this just does not grab me; rather disappointed sadly and to be honest I was glad when it ended - oh dear. The UK entry is looking more appealing by the second.......still we have Norway at number one...... report to the moderator

100% respect to France who is tryly trying to renew Eurovision Song Contest. But once again - if the intensions are to win the contest, they will fail to do so. report to the moderator

Je pense, que c'est une musique, qui va rendre le concours plus colorée et intéressante. Une autre facette des choses dont nous pensons que nous savons tout cela, mais cela est plus grossier, plus dur et a son propre style. Merci la France, bien joué. report to the moderator

Once again I'm quite content with France. This is a sober case, coming directly to the point, considering all requirements of pop music without being too compliant. The singer's soulful voice fits well with the sharp riffs of the guitar, the arrangement has a pleasantly earthy vibe and seems unflappable. There are surely some blue notes appearing, but to me this is nothing but a rock song - dramatic, hammering its bitter promise of the relentless fate into mind and soul, finally adamant. - So the video's vanitas theme makes much of a sense: Doomsday's waiting, no slipping through.

The ingredients are discernible and the makers may know their stuff well - sometimes this sounds like a naughty version of Plant/Kraus - but nonetheless I feel that France are again going their own way. And that's exactly the way it should be. report to the moderator

Hm, I don't like this song because blues is not my favourite genre of music. But I wish to mention an outstanding vocal. Amandine has a deep voice full of passion.
Good luck, France! report to the moderator
