I think it's quite hypocritical from the EBU to keep Eurovision bilingual if the place of the French language is so low.
During this edition, only a few rules were translated into French and only one country announced its points in French.
What's the purpose ? Ridiculing France and the French-speaking Europeans ?
If the EBU isn't capable to employ bilingual hosts for each edition (it was the case in Malmö thanks to lovely Petra Mede) or to ask for French-speaking spokespersons in order to balance the voting, I think it's better for everyone to remove French from the official languages.
Be more pragmatic and sincere please ! report to the moderator

Blame the BBC they are the ones behind Eurovision in the UK ,,, some one should explain why we cant use the app like the rest of Europe. Makes us look worse then a third world country, about time they got their act together where Eurovision is concerned. report to the moderator

#Eurovision #JoinUs in the 21st century. Typical. Voting from the UK is limited to calling ONLY via BT phoneline (£1.20+ per vote) vice the free mobile app. No wonder the UK hasn't won since 1997. Get with the program and stop ripping off your country. report to the moderator
