Following a special gala held today in Athens, the four songs and acts seeking to representing Greece in this year's Eurovision Song Contest have been made available to watch online by ERT and MADTV.

The national final Ellinikόs Telikόs 2013 will be held on Monday the 18th of February in the Gazi Music Hall in Athens.

Greek finalists 2013

The hosts for the final will be the famous Greek singer Despina Vandi and the actor Giorgos Kapoutzidis who previously hosted the Greek Final in 2006 and also co-commentated in the Eurovision Song Contest 2006 on behalf of ERT.

Greece will participate in the second half of Semi-Final Two on Thursday the 16th May.

    All songs it's ok. But two songs are so beautiful and the singers of songs have wonderful voice such as for example the singer of song "Angel" is so beautiful song!!! And the song "Alcohol is free" is cheerful and upbeat!!! Greece hope to make a good choice to win!!! Go Greece!! report to the moderator

    "Angel" is by far the most beautiful and artistic piece of music Greece will ever have to send without speaking of Giorgina's clear,powerful and enchanting voice! I just hope that people will be sensitive at Alex Leon & Giorgina's truly original attempt the day of voting.I wish them the best of luck! report to the moderator

    It's really interesting how opinions differ. It 's also obvious that European people like traditional music from other countries and suggest that Greece sends traditional songs. The real question though is, will these people actually vote for these songs or will they vote for some usual pop or ballad song? Last years' winners show us that this latter is what happens. Euphoria, Running Scared, Satellite, Believe, Molitva etc etc. The only real traditional song that won was Fairytale. Anyway my point is that Europeans suggest that Greece chooses Aggeliki Iliadi or the Koza Mostra crap (cause for us Greeks these 2 songs are songs that we listen to when we are totally drunk to understand any quality in music) but then the same people will vote for pop and rock songs and they will say "oh shame, I liked that traditional song". Will you honestly vote for it or will you be overwhelmed from a russian girl's great legs? report to the moderator
