We are right in the middle of a busy semi-final weekend in Hungary! Tonight, four finalists have been chosen in the first semi-final of A Dal, and tomorrow, anouther four qualifiers will be picked in a joint vote of an expert jury and the TV public.

Gábor Gundel-Takács, Éva Novodomszky, and Márton Buda presented tonight's first semi-final of A Dal 2013. Nine acts competed for the ticket to the Hungarian national final, to be held on Saturday, March 2nd.

Right after each performance, a jury voted on the respective act, with the top-2 directly qualifying for the final. The seven remaining acts had to rely on the televoters, who then chose another two finalists.

Tonight's qualifiers

This is the line-up of tonight's show (jury points in brackets, qualifiers in bold):

  • Peter Puskás - Amíg a tűz ég (34 points)
  • Laura Cserpes - Élj pont úgy (33 points - televoting choice)
  • Laci Gáspár & Plastikhead - A szeretet él (38 points)
  • Ildikó Keresztes - Nem akarok többé játszani (39 points - televoting choice)
  • Tibor Gyurcsik - Örök harc (35 points)
  • Odett - Ne engedj el (33 points)
  • András Kállay Saunders - My baby (45 points - jury choice)
  • Lilla Polyák - Valami más (35 points)
  • Gergő Rácz - Csak állj mellém (43 points - jury choice)

What's next?

Tomorrow, on Sunday, the second semi-final of A Dal will take place, with the following nine acts fighting for the ticket to the final:

  • Tamás Vastag - Holnaptól
  • Bye Alex - Kedvesem
