Warsaw, Poland -

There were a lot of rumours about this year’s Polish representative for Copenhagen. In tonight’s show Świat Się Kręci (The World Goes Around), the Polish broadcaster TVP announced the duo Donatan & Cleo as their entrants. The singers will perform My Słowianie (Slavic Girls), a very catchy and rhythmic song with hip-hop and folk elements!

This year, the Polish broadcaster TVP made their decision internally. In tonight’s talk show Świat Się Kręci (The World Goes Around), the duo Donatan & Cleo were announced as the representatives in the 2014 Eurovision Song Contest. With their song My Słowianie (Slavic Girls), Donatan & Cleo want "to show the best they have in their country," Donatan said and looked at Cleo.

Donatan is famous in Poland as a music producer. In October 2013, he and the singer Cleo released together their song My Słowianie. Their video clip has become popular on youtube where it was viewed more than 38 million times. Last year, the single My Słowianie also reached top ten in charts.

One of the important guests in tonight’s show was Michał Wiśniewski, the Polish representative in the 2003 and 2006 Eurovision Song Contest. He shared his experience about Eurovision Song Contest with the public.

About Donatan and Cleo

Donatan’s real name is Witold Czamara. Since 2002, he is famous as a music producer in the hip-hop scene. In 2010, Donatan reached the top ten in the hip-hop ranking of the best Polish music producers. He has been living in Russia for the last eight years.

At the beginning of the polish video of the song the man says: "If you have problems with a sense of humour or don't have a distance to the world, or you suffer a hipertension or senile decay, don't watch this video.
In all other cases, before warching the video, consult the word: 'irony' and contact with your doctor or pharmacist, because video that is misunderstood might endanger your life or health." report to the moderator

I'm Pole so it's hard to write an objective opinion but I'll try.... The polish version of this song was a great hit. The english version was criticized from the beginning. Have Donatan and Cleo a chance to win? Eurovision Warsaw 2015? I don't think so.
In one sentence: We could have chosen better. report to the moderator

@Mrs Opinion: keep on trying hard, read my posts over and over again and maybe (although I doubt it) just maybe, you'll get the point. So once again n i c e a n d s l o w l y: I'm not talking about liking the song AT ALL. I just find rising political issue regarding it hilarious! :) But you are way too uptight to see it. You also don't seem to notice that I only talk to you here, the rest is just my opinion which I have the right to publish just like you do. You cry about Polish who can't take bad opinion about their song but at the same time you have ZERO tolerance for any criticism towards your statements! Way to go! :) No, I don't thing the song is sexist, that's my OPINION, can't I have one??? Oh, gee, doesn't saying that I was talking to myself mean, that your answers were written by.... NOBODY? :))) Don't be so hard for yourself ;) So long! I'm gonna miss you :) Peace report to the moderator

Ok, I hope this is an ironic way to be back in the contest. The message about using the body to succeed in the Slavic world is not as positive as it should be in a contest like this. But we like to laugh, so this is a chance to say "welcome back " to Poland. report to the moderator

@elmariachi: Repeat the quote you said before that I have posted bellow few more time, you may see your absurdity, and see how many posts you posted to everyone that said something against the song. ?! tztz... Not just from you but many other Polish are doing the same. In no other country representative site can be seen as much attacks against people who dislike the song - NONE. This fact should make you think, or maybe not? Who cares you have fun-sexist-song, hah! Anyhow, this is my last response and before I leave you talk to yourself, as you did before, I will say that I was really annoyed and disappointed from (some UK's behavior, and) this "slav" behavior making it one more reason for me to distinguish. report to the moderator

Mrs Opinion Wow! :)))))) Ok, Mom, me start read book, me stupid no school, no study ;))) It's funny that you 're talking about using brain, your message would sound much stronger if you were using one yourself! It might help you go a half step further while looking at the picture of pair of boobs. After all, the sense of humor, irony and sarcasm are hallmarks of bright and intelligent people :) You are so high on political correctness that it takes you to the point of pure paranoia. This is show business, pop music, entertainment, 3 minute joke that's suppose to make you dance, not a speech at the United Nations forum! Heard of self-distance? Look it up :) Personally I have no problem whatsoever with people that don't agree with me or don't like what I like, I do however like to pick on ridiculousness going beyond the boundary of absurdity. To wrap up, chill out just a little, try to have some fun it won't hurt you! ;) report to the moderator

@elmariachi Can you just get over Polish people that others have their own opinion and they DO NOT necessary agree with everything you say and what to be? Yeah, everything starts with the joke at first. :) I am real but you should start studying a little bit further than just an elementary school and offcourse watch & listen less to these type of sex-motivational songs, you might start using your brain and think properly to figure out for yourself why. Cheers! report to the moderator
