Skopje, FYR Macedonia -

Tonight, the duo from FYR Macedonia Esma & Lozano presented their entry for Malmö. In the studio of MKRTV, the Queen of Gypsy music, Esma Redžepova, and the talented pop singer Lozano, delivered a truly exciting show. The music video of Esma & Lozano’s entry will be available on eurovision.tv in the upcoming weeks!

The entry of FYR Macedonia in the 2013 Eurovision Song Contest has been premiered tonight in a special TV show on MRT. Imperija, sung by Esma & Lozano, is a catchy mix of pop, dance and folk music. Thus it combines both Lozano's background as a contemporary pop singer, and the gypsy music style Esma Redžepova is well-known for. The song is sung entirely in the Macedonian language.

During the show, Esma and Lozano performed entries from their repertoires. The Queen of Gypsy music sang one of her most popular songs Chayorie Shukarie with the Big Band. Lozano performed Johnny Logan’s winning entry Hold Me Now in the 1987 Eurovision Song Contest. Moreover, the duo sang together a Macedonian traditional composition called Blaguno Deyche.

Kaliopi, the FYR Macedonian representative in the 2012 Eurovision Song Contest, was a special guest of the show - she sang her Eurovision entry Crno I Belo for the public.

The music video of Esma & Lozano’s entry will be available on our site in the upcoming weeks. Stay tuned with eurovision.tv!

The video is not banned, it was just removed. It seems the song will get a better arrangement and a new video will be shot. Even if liked the song very much, I cannot deny the video was a little cheap. The song deserves something better. Kaliopi's video was one of the best last year, a great production. report to the moderator

Last year Kaliopi spread her song worldwide. It is sad that Esma& Lozano "Imerija" is banned in youtube. Sad because youtube is how music becomes viral (pupular)

Shame! It was a good song! report to the moderator

    Jason Boris
The content of the song is not about Macedonian empire!!! -_-
ITs about music empire that stands on our planet... there is no politics in this song.

The song is not bad but the content.. What is this??
Imagine France making a song for Eurovision about the British Empire in which they claim as their own.. This is a joke.
Why should we mingle politics in such an event..
What a shame... report to the moderator
