Russia to choose their artist for Malmö internally

Russia has been quiet for a while with their decision about having a national selection for the 2013 Eurovision song Contest. Today Channel One Russia, this year's broadcaster and the one which is up to pick their representative, has announced that they will select their artist and song internally.

Channel One Russia has officially made known that they will select their performer for Malmö internally. So, the artist who will sing in the 2013 Eurovision Song Contest for Russia will be announced shortly.

Russia won the Eurovision Song Contest in 2008 with the song Believe performed by Dima Bilan. Last year the were the runner-up in Baku with the unforgettable Buranovskiye Babushki and their Party For Everybody!

    Well, my inside tells me that the winner of "The Voice (Russia)" will represent Russia this year... who knows.
    But please, not Bilan again!! Other world will think Russia haven't got any other singers >__< I just hope we'll do our best this year. But, sure, good luck all the countries! Let the greatest win! report to the moderator

    What is this! I thought they are going to do a public selection! How frustrating, urgh!

    Russia is in general 1 of my favorite countries, I love the Russian entries from 2000, 2003, 2004, 2006, 2007, 2009, 2010, 2011 & mostly 2012 :P

    PLEASE NO DIMA BILAN!!!!!!!! I'm really sick and tired of that name, in 2006 he had a wonderful and great song, but 2008 was a horrible mistake.

    C1R always send a crap to ESC. Babushki were sent by RTR. So i haven't any hopes for a good results this year. report to the moderator
