The procedure and criteria for this year’s national selection in Slovenia are quite clear and transparent. Not only that the competing songs need to be "exclusive, up to three minutes long and to reflect musical diversity“, members of the jury panel are also obligated to consensus decision making. They were dealing with a difficult task, considering that 29 authors and publishers took part and 42 songs were submited, listened and evaluated.
All the fans and audience will be informed about contestants and songs in details. Beside news and information that can be found on RTV SLO website, more content will be available on EMA's Facebook, Twitter and YouTube channel, very soon too. In other words, preparations in Ljubljana for the upcoming Eurovision Song Contest in Copenhagen in May are in a full swing. And don't forget: EMA 2014 is scheduled for 8th of March at 22:00 CET. Who is going to represent Slovenia in Denmark this year, will be decided through televoting only.
