Many returners

Several previous participants have returned to the show this year as well. Rolf Roosalu (who has taken part in every edition), Tenfold Rabbit, Birgit Õigemeel, Teele Viira, Rosanna Lints, Stig Rästa, Fred Krieger, Jaan Pehk and Liis Lemsalu all make a comeback

Also, the creative behind several previous Estonian Eurovision Song Contest entries, such as Runaway (2002), Once In A Lifetime (2000), Through My Window (2006) - Alar Kotkas, Peaaru Paulus, Ilmar Laisaar and Jana Hallas have returned.

Im addition to them, the composer of the Estonian entries in 2005 (Let's Get Loud), 2009 (Rändajad) and 2011 (Rockefeller Street) - Sven Lõhmus has decided to give the contest one more try.

The semi-finals will be held on 16th and 23rd of February, the final on the 2nd of March. Five will qualify from both semi-finals for the final.

One of the songs that has received already a lot of attention is Meil On Aega Veel by Põhja-Tallinn who has been doing very well in the Estonian music charts this year.

A runaway hit

In 2012, Ott Lepland won Eesti Laul and represented Estonia in Baku at Europe's favourite TV show finishing 6th with his Kuula. It has also dominated the local charts in 2012.

The Estonian national selection has been a runaway hit since it's launch in 2009, producing some of the biggest hits in the country as well as qualifying the nation to the Final of the Eurovision Song Contest 3 times in the last 4 years.

From what I've heard, Birgit Õigemeel, Neogeen, Põhja-Tallinn, Flank, Grete Paia and Kõrsikud all sound good. I haven't heard Marilyn Jurman's song yet, but I liked her entry last year. report to the moderator

Really enjoyed Eesti Laul 2012. Tenfold Rabbit, Birgit Õigemeel, Teele Viira and Liis Lemsalu return from Eesti Laul 2012; Jaan Pehk (writer for Orelipoiss- Zombi, Eesti Laul 2012) and Rolf Roosalu (writer for POP Maniacs-I Don't Know, Eesti Laul 2012), also return. Of the 8 songs available, my favourites are:

    Flank - Missing Light
Liisi Koikson & Söörömöö - Üle Vee

The Estonian language seems to favour Eurovision, giving Estonia a top 10 final placing in 1996, 1997, 2009 and 2012. However songs in English gave Estonia first win in 2001, third in 2002 and fourth in 2000. report to the moderator

El tema de Põhja-Tallinn - Meil On Aega Veel es igual a Teenage Life de Daz Sampson de 2009, es muy bueno, pero no creo que alcance, de todas maneras es el mejor de la lista asi que espero a escuchar los otros report to the moderator

Estonia, please send an entry in Estonian!!! I loved Urban Symphony in 2009 and Ott Lepland this year. In recent years, Estonia has also done better with entries in Estonian than in English! report to the moderator

I didn't like Kuula, and I don't understand why a representative wants to participate and go again next year!!! Let the place for a new person!
Tenfold rabbit: I think I don't like it...
Birgit Õigemeel - Et uus saaks alguse: Nice ballad! Her voice is amazing, I loved her song You're not alone. Another song sung in Estii would be awesome!
Winny Puhh: ... uhm is strange, like and don't at the same time, is catchy but too repetitive. But if this song win, I'm not sure if would be go far...
Põhja-Tallinn - Meil On Aega Veel: LOVE IT!!!!!!!!! Awesome song! Keep it in Estonian, really it has big chances. Can't stop shaking my head when I hear it :D
Flank - Missing light: Not bad, like it how it sounds.
I have to search and listen the others songs! =)
GO ESTONIA! Don't fail me like last year u.u LOL report to the moderator

It would be excellent for Estonia to send something like in 2009! Beautiful mysterious nordic song with violins. And the Estonian language was there to make the mystery even bigger. :) report to the moderator
