It’s just one hour before the show and thousands of fans are already at the Malmö Arena, in order to attend the Grand Final of the Eurovision Song Contest 2013. There will be at least eleven thousand fans inside during the show. We met some of them in front of Arena.

Amandine Bourgeois has an exciting task ahead of her tonight: she will be the first contestant to showcase her talents on the stage of the Malmö Arena. L'Enfer Et Moi (Hell And Me) is song number one in the Grand Final of the 2013 Eurovision Song Contest, on behalf of France.

Italy has only ended in the Top 10 since their broadcaster decided to rejoin the Eurovision Song Contest. This year all their hopes fall in the winning song of their Sanremo Festival, L'Essenziale (The Essential) and its performer, Marco Mengoni.

Iceland made to the Grand Final, sixth year in a row. Thanks to Eyþór Ingi Gunnlaugsson and his powerful ballad Ég Á Líf, we might go to Reykjavík for the first time next year, who knows! But when we met with Eyþór before tonight’s show, it seems he is not really thinking about the competition and winning the contest.

It seems that every spare moment an artist has in Malmö, while not rehearsing is spent with endless round of media interviews and appearances. Even though she is one of the best known names to appear at this year's contest, Bonnie Tyler from the United Kingdom has met up with several artists for photo opportunities, including with Farid Mammadov from Azerbaijan and Gianluca from Malta.

The EBU has published the scheduled voting order that the 39 countries will announce their votes tonight, together with a list of the spokespersons. There are a number of names that will be familiar to fans of the contest, including several former participants.

ABBA's Benny Andersson and Björn Ulvaeus have composed We Write The Story, which has been adapted by Avicii, for the 2013 Eurovision Song Contest in Malmö. The anthem is the main theme of the Swedish hosting as well as the music for the Grand opening act of the Final.
