The second qualification round just took place in Finland for their 2013 national selection UMK. After the results of the expert jury and the televote were mixed it turned out that both Arion and Krista Siegfrids go straight to the Final in February. Lucy Was Driving, Great Wide North and Elina Orkoneva will have a second chance in the semi-final next week.

Last week Diandra and Mikael Saari qualified for the final of Uuden Musiikin Kilpailu. Tonight the second half of participants of Finland's 2013 national selection, UMK, will try their luck. The four-member jury along the TV voting public will decide which two of tonight's songs proceed straight to the final.

After Raphael Gualazzi and Nina Zilli an internal commission from Italy's broadcaster RAI will choose their singer for Malmö among the participants of Sanremo 2013. The chosen artist will be announced during the Final on the 16th of February while the chosen song will be confirmed later on.

National broadcaster RTVSLO has confirmed that the Slovenian entry for the 2013 Eurovision Song Contest will be chosen internally.

The word was out in the press early in the evening today about who is going to represent France at the 2013 Eurovision Song Contest. Eurovision.tv just got the confirmation from France Televisions. The singer Amandine Bourgeois will be the French performer in Malmö with the song L'Enfer Et Moi which translates as Hell And Me.
