Visa information

To enter the Russian Federation, you need a visa unless you are a citizen and have a passport of Armenia, Azerbaijan, Belarus, Israel, Moldova, Ukraine or Russia.
Step 1: Applying for accreditation
Media professionals and the most dedicated fans can apply for accreditation to the 54th Eurovision Song Contest via the accreditation page.
Step 2: Receiving the visa invitation letter
As soon as you accreditation application is approved, it will be forwarded to the Visa Department of the City of Moscow. Within 10 working days, you will receive your visa invitation by email.
Step 3: Getting your visa
Go to the embassy or consulate of the Russian Federation in your country. To locate the nearest embassy or consulate of the Russian Federation, use the online locator*. Bring with you the following documents:
- Print-out of the visa invitation letter
- Filled-out visa application form. You can find the application form on the website of the Russian embassy or consulate, or at the embassy or consulate itself. It is recommended to fill out the form in advance!
- A recent passport-like photo
- Your passport (valid at least six months after your departure from Russia and with an empty page for the visa)
- Copy of your travel health insurance valid in Russia during the visa validity period
- Money (in cash) for the visa payment
Special Eurovision Song Contest desks will be availalbe at the embassies and consulates of the participating countries as from the 1st of March. However, you can already go to obtain your visa before that date.
Note that it usually takes up to 3 days to get your visa. You will receive a 30-day, single-entry visa, valid from 1 May to 30 May.
