The Cypriot representative in the 2010 Eurovision Song Contest is decided. The island will be defended in Oslo by Jon Lilygreen & The Islanders with Life Looks Better In Spring. The song was voted as number 1 by both the viewers and the jury.

Tonight Cyprus will get to choose the song that will represent them in the Eurovision Song Contest in Oslo. Nine songs are in line to deserve this honour.

Cypriot television has revealed the line-up of songs in their national final for the Eurovision Song Contest. Among the songwriters of the ten entries presented are threefold winner Constantinos Christoforou. Only residents of Cyprus could submit songs.

Cypriot broadcaster CyBC has released the rules for their upcoming national selection for the 2010 edition of the Eurovision Song Contest. 

The host of last year's Junior Eurovision Song Contest - Cyprus - decided to send a young girl to the adult version of the contest as well. The 17-year-old Christina Metaxas took the song Firefly, written by her brother, to the stage in Moscow.
