Today, the EBU releases individual combined rankings of the televoting and jury voting of the 2013 Eurovision Song Contest. This year's winner Denmark wasn't only ranked highest in the combined result of 50% televoting and 50% jury voting, but was also ranked highest by televoters and juries individually.

More than 170 million viewers across 36 countries tuned into the 58th Eurovision Song Contest in Malmö, Sweden, won by Emmelie de Forest with Only Teardrops bringing the trophy to Denmark.

As part of the ongoing efforts to prepare more efficiently for the Eurovision Song Contest, the European Broadcasting Union (EBU) and Host Broadcaster SVT revised the contest's rehearsal schedule. After discussions with organisers, delegations, journalists and fans, the setup of the event weeks has also been revised. These changes were thoroughly discussed in the Reference Group and approved during its December meeting.

The Polish city of Gdańsk will host the 2013 Eurovision Young Dancers competition. The decision was ratified at a meeting of the Steering Group on the 26th of June 2012, and means that TVP will be the host broadcaster for next year’s competition.
