Jessy Matador, the energetic French participant at the 2010 Eurovision Song Contest, has continued his success all over Europe, now releasing a new single.

It felt like it was the French participant Jessy Matador who brought the summer to the Norwegian capital of Oslo with his entry for the 55th Eurovision Song Contest. The song Allez Olla Olé has become one of the summer hits in Europe and finished 12th in the contest.

Last night, directly after the Final of the 2010 Eurovision Song Contest, an after show party was held at the Sonja Henie ballroom in the Radisson Plaza Hotel in Oslo. Eurovision.tv chatted with some of the artists who attended about their thoughts and experiences competing in Europe's Favourite TV Show.

France is a culturally mixed nation. This comes across when Jessy Matador takes the stage in the 2010 Eurovision Song Contest. His show for Allez Olla Olé is heavily influenced by African dancing. And not without reason – Jessy's original home country is the Democratic Republic of Congo.

A special boat trip on the Oslo fjord on board the famous Christian Radich ship was organised for the delegations of France, Germany, Spain, United Kingdom and Norway. The penultimate country to rehearse today were France. Jessy Matador and his team gave a vivacious and lively performance of Allez Ola Olé.

Jessy Matador was chosen internally by the French broadcaster to represent the country on the big Oslo stage this year. Today, it was his first time to set his feet into the huge arena and try out various approaches to his song Allez Ola Olé which is an uptempo tune with a happy feel to it.

After a hectic weekend of seven national selections, it seems like almost every entry for the 2010 Eurovision Song Contest has been revealed. This is, however, not the case. We still miss three entries for Oslo.

Earlier today, Nicolas Pernikoff from French TV France 2 hinted on radio channel Europe 1 that France will be represented in the 2010 Eurovision Song Contest by up and coming singer Jessy Matador. With this possible choice, France's delegation aims to achieve two goals: score a good place in Europe's favourite TV show and also create a summer-hit!
