After a couple of countries swapped their running order positions for the rehearsals, as the second last song of today, we met the Lithuanian delegation relaxing backstage. The singer Andrius Pojavis told us he was looking forward getting his first contact with the Malmö stage.

Last night in Amsterdam, the fifth annual Eurovision In Concert took place, with 25 acts from this year's contest appearing in the Melkweg (Milky Way) venue in the city centre. They were joined by the 1991 Eurovision winner, Carola Häggkvist, from Sweden, and two former Dutch entrants, Marlayne (1999) and Linda Wagenmakers (2000).

Two presentation shows, five qualification heats, two semi-finals and winning the majority of the votes of the expert jury and the viewing public at home in today's final. That's all it took Andrius Pojavis to get through in order to represent Lithuania at the 2013 Eurovision Song Contest!

For the past weeks we have been following the eliminations of the 2013 national selection in Lithuania and now the date has arrived for the final. Lithuania is one of the countries that selects next year's Eurovision Song Contest entry before 2012 comes to an end.
Last Saturday their broadcaster LRT showed the first Semi-Final where only the audience favourites were announced. Now we have the first four finalists confirmed.

After the qualification shows were over, it was time for LRT to broadcast the first semi-final. Nine acts competed to get the first places in the final on the 22nd of December. The votes of the audience, which account for 50% of the total result were announced in the end.

Lithuania is one of the countries that will pick their 2013 Eurovision Song Contest entry before the new year comes. With the final scheduled on Saturday the 22nd of December, the next two weeks the semi-finals will take place and now the list of acts that made it through is complete.

After the first three qualification shows, tonight it's time for LRT to broadcast the fourth heat. At 20:00 CET, eight further acts will compete to get three more places in the Semi-finals on December. Guest starring this week is Julia from 4Fun, who will also seat in the jury.

Last week the third qualifier of the Lithuanian national selection took place in Vilnius. Now after the jury and the televoting results have been combined we have the next three semi-finalists: Elvina Milkauskaitė, Neringa Šiaudikytė and Božolė. The fourth heat will be broadcast on Saturday.
