After a very exciting voting, in what's been considered one of the most unpredictable Swedish finals in years, Robin Stjernberg managed to win Melodifestivalen 2013 with the song You and thus will represent Sweden in the Eurovision Song Contest in Malmö in May.

Five weeks full of exciting entertainment have led to the final of Melodifestivalen 2013, the Swedish national selection for the Eurovision Song Contest. Ten acts have reached this stage but only one will be the winner, tonight starting at 20:00h CET from the Friends Arena in Stockholm.

The two last spots for the Swedish final have been filled. Anton Ewald with Begging and Robin Stjernberg's You got the last two tickets for Stockholm and it's Friend's Arena where the final of Melodifestivalen 2013 takes place in one week time.

Since the semi-finals were introduced in Sweden's Melodifestivalen there has been a second chance round for some of those who were close to qualifying for the final but didn't. Tonight it's time to give that second chance to the acts that want to represent Sweden at the 2013 Eurovision Song Contest on home ground.

Tonight's semi-final of Melodifestivalen 2013 has just taken place in the forthcoming Eurovision Song Contest venue, Malmö Arena. Both Ralph Gyllenhammar and Ulrik Munther got a ticket to the final where they will fight to reach that stage again in May.

The fourth and last semi-final of Melodifestivalen 2013 takes place tonight at the Malmö Arena, home of the 2013 Eurovision Song Contest. Eight new songs will compete for the last two direct tickets to the final in Stockholm, while two others will have a second chance next week.

Two more acts joined the final of Melodifestivalen 2013 tonight in Skellefteå: the pop-rock band State of Drama and the schlager-combo Ravaillacz which features one of Sweden's most popular singers Tommy Körberg. He represented Sweden in the Eurovision Song Contest twice, in 1969 and in 1988.

From West to North. The Melodifestivalen tour leaves Sweden's second city to the town of Skellefteå and its Kraft Arena, where the third semi-final of their Eurovision Song Contest national selection will take place this year. Last week's show was the most watched semi-final since the tours started in 2002.

Last year Sean Banan reached the second chance round of Melodifestivalen, but this year he's back with a bang and a straight ticket to the Swedish Final with Copacabanana. Joining him on the 9th of March final will be Louise Hoffsten with a song written by the Swedish team who wrote Azerbaijan's winner in 2011.

Last Saturday the 2013 Swedish selection for the Eurovision Song Contest, Melodifestivalen, kicked off in Karlskrona proving once more its popularity. More than 3,5 million Tv viewers tuned in to watch David Lindgren and YOHIO going straight to the final. The tour moves to Gothenburg this week.

David Lindgren just got his second consecutive ticket for the Melodifestivalen final after managing so last year. To join him the visual-kei artist YOHIO and his Heartbreak Hotel. Eric Gadd and Cookies N Beans will have a second chance in one month.

Last week a press conference hosted by the Swedish Broadcaster, SVT, took place in Stockholm to introduce the artists that will take part in the first two semi-finals of their popular national selection Melodifestivalen in 2013 in Karlskrona and Gothenburg. Today the rest of the line-up was completed with the artists that will compete in Skellefteå and Malmö.

It's only days before the Swedish broadcaster, SVT, announces the titles of the entries and the participant names of their national selection for the 2013 Eurovision Song Contest, Melodifestivalen. The hosts have now been presented: Danny Saucedo and Gina Dirawi, and the tickets for the shows are already selling fast!
