One could see the sparkle in Aliona Moon's eyes when she was entering the stage in the Malmö Arena today for her first rehearsal: Just one year ago, she already performed in the Eurovision Song Contest, as a backing vocalist. This year, she will be the main person, trying to conquer the hearts of all Europeans with her soulful ballad O Mie, which she performed on a stage set like a starry sky today.

In the last few days, a team of SVT, the host broadcaster of the 2013 Eurovision Song Contest, came to Moldova to film the postcard that will introduce the country's entry during the TV show. In a spectacular setting, hundreds of fans gathered with Aliona Moon in Chisinau at night to launch sky lanterns!

The last national final of the 2013 Eurovision season has taken place tonight, when the Moldovan representative was chosen in the TRM studios in Chisinau. Fourteen acts were in the running, and in the end a 50/50 combination of televoting and an expert jury decided the winning entry: Aliona Moon will sing A Million in Malmö!
