Hora Din Moldova or the Moldavian dance of Hora represented the country well at this year's Eurovision Song Contest. Nelly Ciobanu's energetic performance got her the fourteenth position with 69 points.

Nelly Ciobanu talked to eurovision.tv about the importance of the folk dance Hora in Moldova and for her personally. The lead singer shared her thoughts about her participation in the 2005 Moldovan National Final and her ambitions in the 2009 Eurovision Song Contest.

Today the Moldovan representatives in the 2009 Eurovision Song Contest rehearsed for the second time. In spite of problems with the ear monitors they delivered a very cheerful and vocally convincing performance.

Nelly Ciobanu, the Moldovan representative in the 2009 Eurovision Song Contest, just finished rehearsing her entry Hora Din Moldova. She performed it together with four male dancers in front of LED screens showing national ornaments and embroidery, which, altogether, created a very cheerful atmosphere for this ethno-pop song.

Moldavian representative at this year's Eurovision Song Contest, Nelly Ciobanu is one of the most prized singers this year. However, she'll dedicate her performance to her small daughter.
