Last Saturday the 8th of September we had the pleasure of attending the Eurovision Live Concert in Setubal, Portugal, where we met many artists that have participated in the Eurovision Song Contest over the years. One of the most emotive performances came from Simone de Oliveira who represented Portugal back in 1965 and 1969.

Tonight is the second live show of this years Eurovision Song Contest. 18 countries will fight it out for the remaining ten places in Saturday's final. Eurovision.tv will report the qualifiers for you as soon as they are announced. The ten winners were revealed one by one at the end of the show.

The live show for the Second Semi-Final takes place tomorrow evening, when viewers in 21 countries will have their opportunity to vote to decide the ten qualifiers. It is worth remembering that this evening's dress rehearsal is of equal significance, as this is the rehearsal that the professional juries will be watching and voting on, and they are responsible for 50% of the votes.

After a first rehearsal that was already almost perfect, Filipa Sousa from Portugal went on the stage in the Baku Crystal Hall again today. On the LED backdrop, beautiful images from Lisbon are shown - a fact that Filipa herself loved when she saw it the first time, as she told us in the make-up room before their rehearsal!

These are the starting lines of the Portuguese song Vida Minha and to fit them on to the stage of the Baku Crystal Hall, they decorated the backdrop with the streets of Portugal.

Filipa Sousa is getting ready to travel to Baku to represent Portugal at the Eurovision Song Contest. Some days ago she travelled to The Netherlands to perform at the Eurovision In Concert in Amsterdam, where she kindly answered to our questions... at the airport!

Following in the footsteps of the Eurovision in Concert event in Amsterdam, the next big event that fans can look forward to is the London Preview Party, which takes place in The Shadow Lounge, London on Sunday the 29th of April. So far, eight of this year's entrants have confirmed their participation at the event, and they will be joined by several more familiar names associated with the contest.

After three succesful years, Portugal didn't manage to reach the Final of the 2011 Eurovision Song Contest in Düsseldorf with Homens Da Luta. This year they aim to reach the Final again with Filipa Sousa who just won Festival Da Cancão 2012 with the song Vida Minha.

Moments ago, the Semi-Final Allocation Draw for the 2012 Eurovision Song Contest took place in Baku, Azerbaijan. Under the scrutiny of the contest's Executive Supervisor Jon Ola Sand, on behalf of the EBU, and Thomas Niedermayer, Project Manager Voting from the official voting partner Digame, which handles the pan-European response platform over which the contest's voting runs.
