Spain held a second press conference today in the Malmö Arena complex. The band that represents them, ESDM, is made up of Raquel, David and Juan. They sing a song in Spanish called Contigo Hasta El Final (With You Until The End), which we can understand as a declaration of eternal love.

Exactly 12 hours after the first Semi-Final proclaimed its ten winners, the lights of the Malmö Arena stage were turned on again for the second round of rehearsals of the direct finalists. Last week the Spanish broadcaster, TVE, published on their website the four songs for consideration to be the Spanish entry performed by ESDM - El Sueño De Morfeo. Two of them were already qualified for the final on the 26th of February and a third one joins them from the remaining two. It's Atrévete (Dare).

It was the plan of the Spanish broadcaster TVE to send an established artist yet again to the Eurovision Song Contest. For the last week many acts were rumoured but in the end it was confirmed live on television that the popular band ESDM - El Sueño De Morfeo will represent Spain in Malmö!

For the fourth year in a row the readers of Spanish-language fansite Eurovision-spain.com have chosen, through the poll La Elección Interna, their favourite candidate to represent Spain at the Eurovision Song Contest. For the 2013 edition in Malmö, the artist they've chosen as the ideal performer is the popular singer Malú. Born in Madrid in 1982, Malú started her career at age 15 and has since then become one of Spain's top stars with eight studio albums to her credit.
