The members of the Armenian rock band Dorians are obviously enjoying their time in Malmö. We met them at their hotel, and as the weather was nice and sunny, they grabbed their instruments and went for a walk with us in the Eurovision village, where they played some unplugged music. The lead vocalist Gor Sujyan always manages to be laid-back, charismatic but convincing. Exactly these feelings the Armenian representative aired in the Malmö Arena during his second rehearsal. Together with his band Dorians, they delivered a very nice, and vocally powerful, performance.

Gor Sujyan and his band Dorians will represent Armenia this year with Lonely Planet, a song penned by Black Sabbath Star Tony Iommi. Today they rehearsed for the first time in the Malmö Arena, and they showed an atmospheric stage act in a dark stage setting, including moving spotlights and pyro effects.

The selection of the Armenian Eurovision song has taken place tonight. In an entertaining TV show, Gor Sujyan, who had previously been internally selected to represent his home country, sang four songs, out of which a 50/50 combination of jury votes and televoting picked the winning entry. It's a very nice ballad Lonely Planet!

Gor Sujyan has been internally selected to represent Armenia. Tonight, it will be decided which song he will sing on the Eurovision stage in Malmö. Out of four songs, all sung by Gor and his band Dorians, a 50/50 combination of televoting and an expert jury will select the winning composition.
