Today, the Draw for the Running Order of the 55th Eurovision Song Contest took place in Oslo, the host city of this year's contest. All 39 participating broadcasters got a spot in their respective Semi-Final or Final.

Three hosts are chosen to lead Europe's favourite TV show from the Telenor Arena in Oslo in May: Nadia Hasnaoui will present the voting and the scoreboard, and make sure the spokespersons from all over Europe can cast their votes in a timely manner. Erik Solbakken and Haddy N'jie will open the show, and cheer with the artists. They will welcome some 125 million television viewers from across Europe and around the world on the 25th, 27th and 29th of May.

Ticket sales for the 2010 Eurovision Song Contest will take off on Monday 8th of February at exactly 9:00 CET. From that moment on, a total of 90,000 tickets can be purchased through Billettservice, both online as well as through their call centre. Tickets can only be purchased with a credit card. Update: Tickets for the Final sold out in 20 minutes!

Moments ago, the Semi-Final Allocation Draw for the 2010 Eurovision Song Contest took place in Oslo, Norway. Under scrutiny of Svante Stockselius, Executive Supervisor of the contest on behalf of the EBU, the Host Broadcaster's Head of Press Peter Svaar conducted the draw. Another big milestone has been reached in the lead up to Oslo 2010. Moments ago, Norwegian broadcaster NRK revealed the theme art and slogan for the upcoming Eurovision Song Contest at a well-attended press conference. Next year's running of Europe's favourite TV-show will be constructed around the theme 'Share The Moment'.

During the Semi-Finals and Final of the 2010 Eurovision Song Contest in Oslo, you will hear that famous sentence "Europe, start voting now!" a bit earlier, as you will be able to cast your votes by telephone and/or SMS during the entire show, instead of for just 15 minutes. From the start of the first song until 15 minutes after the end of the last song performed, votes can be cast. The Reference Group of the contest decided that.

After the introduction of professional juries in the Final of the Eurovision Song Contest this year, it was decided by the contest's Reference Group that music industry professionals will also get a 50 percent stake in the outcome of the Semi-Finals.

After an exciting voting in front of thousands of people in a fully packed Moscow Olimpisky Indoor Arena and millions of TV viewers all over Europe, it was finally Alexander Rybak from Norway who received the highest number of points from televoters and juries from the 42 countries participating in this year's edition of Europe's favourite TV-show! Norway managed to gather 387 points altogether - a new record! -, followed by Yohanna from Iceland with 218 points and Azerbaijan's AySel & Arash who collected 207 points. This afternoon, the first dress rehearsal for the Grand Final of the 2009 Eurovision Song Contest was taking place. 25 songs from 25 countries have qualified for the final of Europe's favourite TV show and Eurovision.tv was in the venue to update you what is happening on the huge Moscow stage!

The billboards of this year's Eurovision Song Contest will be mounted on the streets of Moscow tonight. More than a thousand of them will promote the 42 countries taking part in the Contest. Each with a national flag and depiction of a beautiful girl looking typical for every country. All the images images feature Miss World 2008, the Russian beauty Ksenia Sukhinova.

The impressive structure, which radically breaks recent Eurovision Song Contest traditions, has been designed by New York-based set designer John Casey and has been revealed to the Heads of Delegation of the 43 participating countries earlier tonight.

Earlier today, the Semi-Final Allocation Draw for the 2009 Eurovision Song Contest took place in a packed Mariott Aurora Hotel in downtown Moscow. Under supervision of the European Broadcasting Union (EBU), the 38 represented countries were each allocated in one of the two Semi-Finals.
