Albania has made a choice. Since they joined in 2004 they've always chosen their Eurovision Song Contest entry in December through their national competition Festivali i Këngës. This year's final has just ended producing the following winners: Adrian Lulgjuraj & Bledar Sejko with the song Identiet!

Just like Albania more and more countries are choosing next year's entries before the end of 2012. Albania has been doing it since they joined Eurovision in 2004 as late December is the time when they traditionally host their national Festivali i Këngës. Last night the 51st Festivali i Këngës kicked off in Albania. The national competition is the way to select the Albanian entry at the Eurovision Song Contest since their debut in 2004 and for Malmö 2013 there will be no exception. Nice acts qualified for the final on Saturday and a further nine will follow tonight.
