The semi-final round just took place in Finland for their 2013 national selection UMK. After the results of the televote were added to those of the expert jury it turned out that the acts that also go to the final next week are Last Panda, Lucy Was Driving, Great Wide North and Elina Orkoneva!

Russia has been quiet for a while with their decision about having a national selection for the 2013 Eurovision song Contest. Today Channel One Russia, this year's broadcaster and the one which is up to pick their representative, has announced that they will select their artist and song internally.

Latvian broadcaster LTV has announced that both of the semi-finals of Eirodziesma 2013 will be streamed live on line, allowing fans all over the world to follow the shows.

Earlier this week we revealed that a total of 171 songs were submitted in Serbia for Beosong 2013, the competition to decide the Serbian entry in the Eurovision Song Contest. We can now reveal which 15 compositions have made the shortlist for the semi final.

Last week Krista Siegfrids and Arion qualified for the final of Uuden Musiikin Kilpailu. Tonight it's time for the so-called "semi-final" of Finland's 2013 national selection, UMK. The four-member jury along the TV voting public will decide which four of tonight's six songs get the last chance to reach the final.
