  Tension rises as the first contestants make their way to the stage, here at the Telenor Arena. As the artists rehearse in order of appearance during the live shows, Sunstroke Project & Olia Tira from Moldova have the honour of performing first today.

• Swedish show to be illuminated by 35,000 light staffs
  

  In the preview video from the national selection, the Swedish artist Anna Bergendahl created a particular atmosphere in the arena with thousands of fluorescent light staffs. In Oslo, the Swedish delegation hope to do it again – with a fresh order of 35,000 staffs. Furthermore, the entry This Is My Life is now promoted with a new video clip.

  Today saw the opening of the press centre with lots of journalists entering the gigantic complex which will host the 2010 Eurovision Song Contest.   Right now in Oslo, the finishing touches to the Telenor Arena and the press facilities are on the way. Hundreds of helpers want to make sure that everything is ready before thousands of journalists and fans will arrive to the musical heart of Europe in the coming days.

  Just two days before the first delegations, journalists and fans are scheduled to arrive from all over Europe, the preparations in Oslo, in in particular at the Telenor Arena, are entering their final stage. "We are on schedule," NRK's spokesperson Peter Svaar told Eurovision.tv
